Executive DirectorApplicant must have excellent interpersonal skills, organizational and management experience, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have a proven track record in program/event management, and experience managing or working within a 501c3/6 organization. Must be computer savvy (Microsoft word, Excel, and Outlook). Experience with QuickBooks is a plus. College degree preferred but may be substituted with five years' experience in non-profit management.

Smoke on the CoastDestin Commons is excited to extend the opportunity for local area Non-Profit Organizations to partner with our Smoke on the Coast BBQ & Fireworks Festival event on Tuesday, July 3, 2018. Qualifying organizations will have the chance to receive up to $15,000 in donations over three separate categories through their participating BBQ team.
And we are excited to partner up with Powiggs BBQ for the second year in a row. Last year Powiggs BBQ won first place in Judges Choice, bringing home a total of $7,500 to help support children and families. Please come out and support this collaborative effort between Powiggs and FreshStart!

Fresh Start for Children and Families was announced as one of the four charities to receive a $102,000 community grant from Impact 100 of Northwest Florida, Inc.!
Grant money will be used to create the Fresh Start Family Activity Center,which would provide a supervised place for children to socialize and play while parents pursue training. The grant would fund a multipurpose building, ADA-compliant playground, recreational play pad, walking path, garden boxes, fencing, lighting and utilities. Learn more - NWF Daily News
